#1 · Jun 25, 2017.are you happy with your purchase? I've zeroed in on that model as a next step up from Boulevard S40. Had an eye for the Yamaha V-Star 950T, but like the Vulcan's lines better. Loved that Vulcan, but it wasn't the best bike for long 2-up hauls or even long runs north of 60 mph. Made the switch to my Hard Ball, added a crossroad windscreen and a lock and ride backrest and couldn't be happier.

#1 · Dec 20, 2007 I just bought the vulcan 900 from a private seller and I have not had much time to ride. Too cold. It is an 06 but only had 650 miles on it. I payed 5000 and think that I got a good deal. The one bad part about it is that the one year warranty has ended and the bike is not even broken in.

They have a comparison test of the Vulcan 900, V-Star 950, Honda 750 ACE, and Suzuki C-50. The Suzuki won. I don't know what they were smoking, but evidently it's pretty potent.
